Just two seats left, back by the toilets, rusted fan screeching overhead, so I flick my book back and forth for a whisper of wind, glug my melting caramel freeze. Next stop, this sweat-glued geezer, oozing bad breath and booze, topples onto the seat next to me, pushes his flask in my face, says, I never drink alone, sweetheart! I clamp my earphones on, stare at my book. His shoulder keeps bumping mine, oops, oops, oops. Four more hours to go, when he grabs his chest, face plants my lap. I shriek, jump up, wishing to god he was faking.
