Unseen Calamities

Picture this – a mother, a father, three little girls, kittens, a puppy, laughter, hugs, bedtime stories. Fast forward fifty years. Two children have moved to another country. The eldest one phones every day but the middle one has ceased all communication. The youngest one died a couple of decades ago. The elderly couple decide to go back in time to a period when they were happy and they are now living in that time.
Sandra Arnold is a novelist, short story, flash fiction and non-fiction writer. Her work has been broadcast on national radio, published and anthologised in New Zealand and internationally and has won and been short-listed for several awards. She has a PhD in Creative writing from Central Queensland University, Australia.
