We faked working, fur, smiles, and evidence. We faked IDs, enthusiasm, orgasms, and our own deaths. By the time the fake news started, we’d lost the ability to separate lies from truth. Soon enough the stories from the fake news started actually happening, and the world turned upside down. Me: I’d made a killing in fake diamonds. I thought my real money would save me, but even that turned out to be a false narrative.
