Godzilla rises, forged in nuclear flame, breathes fire, stomps cities. Godzilla fights all the monsters, wins every time. Godzilla beats Rodan and Ghidorah and Mothra and that loser Reptilicus; Godzilla fights the Smog Monster, beats him with help from rogue Woodsy Owl. Godzilla gives a hoot. Godzilla beats corporate greed and human hubris, beats John Wick and John Wayne; he fights on, valiant and doomed, but the monsters keep coming, and Godzilla wonders when all of this will end.
We wonder too.
Kathryn Kulpa once wanted to be a paleontologist, but she somehow ended up as a writer. Her five-year-old self is very disappointed in her.
